Wether your a newbie to smartphones or a veteran since the first, there still may be something you want to know, don’t know you wanted to know, or that has frustrated you as they have evolved. So we are offering training seminars on Selected Saturdays to help you out. Bring in a list of what you wish to know how to do, what bothers you, and not only will we answer those questions, but also those of others that you may had not even thought of yet.
Same goes for tablets. Now days they are getting closer and closer to PC level Operating systems, yet still have all the widgets and notifications of smartphones in general. This means you can view it similar to how your phone works, yet it’s different. And on some, it’s almost a mirror of your computer. But this can be good and bad, at which point we come in. We explain the reasoning behind the design, and how it was meant to help. Most people’s frustrations are centered around improper out of box set up. If you just open these devices and begin to use, then later try to set them up as they request certain criteria, it can become stacked on hassles. With computers you step into a whole new ball game. Our main focus is to help seasoned users to move from one operating system to another without getting lost. Going from windows 98 to 2000 was like repainting your house, you could still walk blind through it. But going from say XP to windows 8 is like buying a whole new bigger house with extra rooms but a similar living room and kitchen. And going between Windows and Apple OSX is like two different homes in different sides of the world. But don’t let this overwhelm you, they may look and feel different, but both have major benefits over the other based on your occupation or personal agendas. And we are here to help you learn how to use them to their fullest. Trainings will be on Saturdays and posted on our home page and Facebook page with dates, times, and topic of discussion. We request that you RSVP via our appointment calendar or by contacting us directly. Only so many seats are available and once filled, it will be hard to accommodate others, plus the more people, the more questions, and considering the classes will have a limited time frame, it may limit the number of questions we are able to answer.
Trainings are valuable and of course require preparation and time. We have set a $25 per person price on the classes for now until they get bigger, then may drop depending on resources necessary to effectively deliver to all participants fairly. Our goal is to make sure you are glad you came, but once we get it streamlined for max efficiency and get them filled each week, we should be able to pass on the savings to the customers.
What You Receive:
Each participant will be requested to bring their own method of note taking and a device they are using and need help with. As long as this is done, you will be allowed up to 10 questions, which all need to be presented at the beginning of class. Most definitely others will share similar questions and then we will prioritize the questions based on how much it effects usefulness, then cover them in order throughout the class. A review of the answers and how-to’s will be Emailed within 48 Hrs to all participants. Any questions not answered within the classes time frame will be answered in the Emailed How-To. Our goal is to make sure that by paying and attending, that at least your top 10 Questions are answered for you and permanently accessible.
